Join us in our global outreach to touch lives in Comayagua, Honduras

DAY CARE SOLUTIONS
The story begins in Comayagua, Honduras where the community is joining together with the Guardian Angel Organization to meet the needs of families in this small town. The resources for childcare are limited for the marginalized. United in this mission our goal is to bring safety and stability for children so that the mothers have a chance to improve their skills for work and education. The basic foundation of care begins with us.
Your support will aid in improving the quality of life and encouraging positive growth and new dreams. We have other programs to implement; this is our first seed in our new garden.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Since Guardian Angel Family Crisis Center’s inception we have been blessed with many dedicated volunteers with diverse backgrounds and ethnicities. Over the past two years women who began working for GAF coordinated donations of our surplus items to the hospital, church and school in Honduras.
Recently, I had the privilege of traveling to Comayagua to meet with leaders of the community. We were met with sincere gratitude for the much needed support and outreach to their community. Together we collaborated on our continued relationship and extended our support by coming alongside them in building a daycare facility that would allow mother’s to work or continue their education. The daycare will provide a safe environment for children to grow in their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
The Lion’s Club is an organization that serves their community with medical, dental and other outreach centers. They heard of our work that touched lives among the people of Comayagua and donated several acres of land to GAF to begin planting the seeds of hope in reaching families in need of support through the daycare.
Together we united on this cause to collaborate with other local organizations. The hospital, school, community center and church have come alongside in this cause to be the hand of hope.
HOW WE CAN HELP
By extending our resources on a local level we can reach others on a global level.
OUR FUTURE PLAN
To make available a secure, safe home for emergency crisis needs. Have mission teams stay in a complex that would provide services for housing and transportation. Our goal is to have 4 to 6 teams per year stay at the Villas. Each team would provide their services in whatever area is needed within the community of Comayagua.
